Peter and Britney- Bridals in Payson Canyon and the Payson Temple

I am so excited to share this session with you all today! Along with Peter and Britney being some of my favorite people (Peter is my husband’s brother), this session is one of those major personal victories because I had finally nailed how I wanted the photos to look. The color and the lighting came together so perfectly for me, and it was one of those galleries that I was just GIDDY the entire time I was editing! Of course there is always more to learn and get better at (I recently had another session that I felt very similarly coming out of), but in the moment, I felt like I had arrived.

Peter and Britney knew they wanted photos at the Payson Temple where they would be getting married a few weeks later, but they also wanted the greens of summer so badly. The Payson canyon is pretty close to the temple, but our situation was a little more complicated than that because there had been a wildfire there just a couple months before. We ended up having to head fairly deep into the canyon and walking off the road a ways to find a good spot!

As I mentioned in Peter and Britney’s engagement post, Britney is AMAZING, and her family is no different! It was so easy for me to see because of how many people pulled together to make Britney’s day as a bride so incredibly perfect. A family friend made her bouquet (please take a looooong minute to appreciate it. It seriously was so amazing), another family friend did her hair and makeup, and her grandma MADE her dress. Talk about so much talent AND skill! Britney was truly the most beautiful bride. I love seeing Peter so happy!
